Fine and Applied Arts - FORTE!

Christy Reichenbach - Team Leader

For the purpose of uniformity throughout the middle schools, all 7th grade students will spend 1 trimester in each 3 Unified Arts classes this year. Those three classes are Applied Science and Technology, Computer Applications and Life Skills. Grades for the 2nd and 3rd quarter will be a combination of two Unified Art's classes.

  • The first trimester will end on November 10th and the Second quarter will be a combination grade: 1/3 from their first trimester class and 2/3 from their second trimester class.
  • The second trimester will end on March 1st and the Third quarter will be a combination grade: 2/3 from their second trimester class and 1/3 from their third trimester class.

April Team Information:

Music/Chorus:
The chorus students are busy preparing now music for our Spring Concert on May 22nd at 7:30pm. Show Choir will be performing April 30th at Wheaton North Show Choir Concert @ 7:00pm.

IRA Music :
We have just started our last rotation and are learning about our National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner."

Students are working on short plays as their final project for the quarter.

8th Grade Electives:
