Sodexho will be returning to Monroe as our food service provider this year. All students will have an established debit account. For your convenience, you can choose to make advanced payment on line, by using this link www.MyLunchMoney.com Prepay link or you can send advance payment with your student, who can give the entire amount to the cafeteria cashier when purchasing lunch. Please make checks payable to cusd200 and don't forget to include the student's name and ID number. To ensure security of your student's account, his or her picture will appear on the monitor for the cashier to view every time the student accesses the account, so no one can utilize it. Funds will be deducted from an account when the student uses it to purchase meals, milk or a la carte food items. There is no limit to the dollar amount that can be deposited in advance into an account. The plate lunch price this year $2.20. Click here for the menu of the month

Because of the large number of families who continue to run a negative balance in their child's lunch account, no student will be able to charge their lunch if there is a negative balance greater than $11 in that individual's account. This change in practice is effective April 2, 2007. Sodexho will continue to send home reminder notes with students when they have $11 or less remaining in their lunch account. Parents may also check their child's account balance by logging onto www.MyLunchMoney.com or accessing the site from the District's homepage at www.cusd200.org You must know the student's District 200 identification number to obtain your child's specific information. Questions may be directed to your school's Sodexho lunch supervisor or the District 200 Business Office at #682-2005.

Electronic School Bags

We are attempting to be more environmentally conscientious and reduce the amount of paper being sent home with students. We have found that many of the flyers that are distributed to students frequently never get out the school bags or even make their way home at all. In an effort to address this issue, we have created an E-School Bag (Electronic School Bag) link on the District’s Website that will house the flyers and brochures that are usually distributed to students by our community partners. Rather than distributing a flyer to each student to carry home, these flyers will be posted on the District’s and respective school’s Website for families to access. Each school will keep a limited number of flyers for those students who may not have regular access to a computer at home.
